Vintage Red and Blue Chair by Dutch designer Gerrit Rietveld. Produced since 1973 by the Italian manufacturer Cassina
Stamped on the frame with the manufacturer’s mark and serial number, which are also included in the certificate of authenticity.
Gerrit Rietveld designed it in 1918. This armchair is part of the Dutch De Stijl movement, characterized by a rigorous abstraction of lines and colors.
Functional and streamlined design. The Red and Blue Chair has been a design icon for over 100 years.
The frame is made of solid black-stained beech, and the ends are painted yellow.
The seat and backrest are made of birch plywood finished with a durable red and yellow polyester lacquer.
