Poul Cadovius Royal System 60’s Bookcase
Modular Danish bookshelf from the 1960s, made of teak, by Poul Cadovius (Royal System). A classic example of the Danish “wall unit.”
Version featuring teak legs and a rare “drop-leaf” dining table or desk with a folding extension leaf.
The shelves and drawers are then inserted into these using the tool-free “Royal System” mounting system: curved black steel rod hooks.
Beautiful craftsmanship with its fine woodworking details.
Numerous assembly configurations with all modular components.
The set is in very good vintage condition. The table and its extension leaf, as well as the tops of the base units, have been restored to their original finish using an eco-label varnish.
