Poul Cadovius Royal System 60’s Bookcase

Modular Danish bookcase from the 1960s in teak by Poul Cadovius Royal System. A classic example of the Scandinavian “wall unit.”

The shelves and cabinets are then inserted into the frame using the tool-free “Royal System” fastening system: curved brass rod hooks. The module with the drop-down door features beautiful inlaid latticework and includes a built-in laminate shelf with a teak border.

Beautiful craftsmanship with its fine woodworking details.
