A rare pair of vintage PJ 56 armchairs in solid Rio rosewood by Danish designer Grete Jalk for Poul Jeppesen.

Rarely produced in this luxurious rosewood version.

Stamped on the underside of the frame with a green metal medallion reading “PJ Design Grete Jalk Made in Denmark” and a “Danish furniture” medallion.

Photogenic, these armchairs look stunning from every angle.

A fabulous design featuring cantilevered armrests, the angle of the seat, and the curve of the backrest. It is a true work of art in cabinetmaking.

A must-have of Danish Modern

Fully restored by our partner upholsterer, a specialist in 20th-century furniture in Lyon.

The high-resilience foam is brand new. The set is upholstered in a bouclé fabric from the French brand Casamance in a powdery snow color. The cushions have removable covers with zippers and are machine washable.

Their ideal dimensions allow them to fit seamlessly into any space, even a small interior. They offer excellent seating comfort thanks to the optimized angle of the backrest.

The set is in very good vintage condition.
