Brigantin sofa by Ligne Roset, designed by Michel Ducaroy, 1980s

Michel Ducaroy sofa, produced by Ligne Roset

Vintage “Brigantin” model sofa by Michel Ducaroy, creator of the iconic Togo for the same manufacturer.

Removable velvet upholstery in a terracotta tone.

Stamped with the manufacturer’s label, Ligne Roset Made in France.

Originally introduced in the 1981 catalogue, this postmodern design was particularly successful in Japan. This example dates from 1991 and has had a single owner until today.
Like the Togo, it features an all-foam construction. Its distinctive “arms” invite you to settle into a soft, cocooning, and comfortable seat.

Lightweight and easy to move.

Some light fading due to UV exposure, contributing to its vintage character. A faint pen mark is visible. The fabric shows no significant wear and remains in very good overall condition.
