SEATING
Sofas, armchairs, daybeds, chairs… Seating is the furniture category that has had the greatest impact on 20th-century design. Many mid-century design icons come from seating pieces. It is the category that required the most research, drawings, and experimentation from designers. Seating has a very specific function: to accommodate the human body. This is why it evokes such strong attraction and enthusiasm. It is the only type of furniture with which humans can truly feel as one.
