Vintage CSS Bookcase by George Nelson

A suspended bookcase in black-stained ash and aluminum from the 1970s, designed by George Nelson, produced by Herman Miller, and distributed in Europe by Mobilier International. CSS Model: Comprehensive Shelf System.

Entièrement modulable. Les 4 montants sol/plafond en aluminium prennent appui au sol par un verrin réglable et au plafond par une tigette télescopique sur ressort à insérer dans une cheville.

Composed of several modules and shelves that can be inserted into the uprights without tools thanks to aluminum brackets: The height of the modules and shelves can be adjusted using adjustable fasteners that slide along the uprights (tool: Allen wrench)

It is also possible to position the modules and shelves against the wall by reversing the aluminum brackets, or as a “room divider,” serving as a screen or partition between two rooms.
