Daybed or bench in ash wood by Atelier de Recherches Plastiques (ARP), composed of designers Pierre Guariche, Michel Mortier, and Joseph-André Motte for the publisher Minvielle. (1955)

Model featuring a headboard shelf on solid ash brackets.

The structure rests on black metal legs.

The upholstery and foam are new: HR35 foam, wadding, and thick loop grey fabric. The mattress and its cylindrical bolster cushion are removable for maintenance.

Varnish recently restored. Wear mark on one corner of the shelf. Very good overall vintage condition.
