A 1960s sideboard by French designer René Jean Caillette (winner of the 1952 René Gabriel Prize), the “Sylvie” model produced by Georges Charron in Rio rosewood and stainless steel. The wood features a beautiful grain and color. Interior in lemonwood. Features 4 drawers and 3 hinged doors, one of which is handle-less with a “push and pull” mechanism; the handles are solid chrome-plated brass. Curved chrome base with Rio rosewood inlay. Shelves in each section. Luxurious craftsmanship thanks to its fine materials and design. Set in very good vintage condition. An exceptional piece of furniture.
