ARP Pierre Guariche desk, Minvielle edition.
1960s executive desk by Pierre Guariche ARP (Atelier de Recherches Plastiques) for the manufacturer Minvielle, in mahogany (1955)
A simple design but with very well-proportioned lines, featuring its storage units and a suspended ‘mahogany’ laminate top.
Black steel frame on wooden glides.
Very good vintage condition. Restoration: new varnish applied to the storage units, drawers and the edge of the top. Original patina preserved. The top has been left as it is as it has a beautiful thick varnish. There are a few scratches.
The cabinets consist of two units: a unit with two drawers – the large drawer is designed for storing files, with runners in place – and a unit with three drawers.
Both locks are present; keys are supplied.
The drawers have been checked and readjusted for smoother operation.
A lovely work surface.
