Georges Frydman executive desk, EFA Edition.

Model 162 desk from the 160 series, executive style, in walnut and laminate from the 1960s by designer Georges Frydman, published by EFA. A copy of the desk’s catalog is available in PDF format, along with the original price quote in francs from the sole owner.
Georges Frydman received the René Gabriel Prize in 1966.

This desk features a walnut-stained extra-hard laminate top (as described in the 1970 catalog) with thick mahogany edges, and two drawer units:

– a two-drawer unit (one walnut, one white laminate with an interior sliding tray)

– a unit with one large drawer and an interior drawer

The metal structure is gray steel.

The desk can be placed in the center of a room.

Two sets of keys; each brass lock has its own set and functions properly.

The wood has been restored and finished with oil, and the white laminate has been restored, except for the metal base. Very good vintage condition. Very good vintage condition.
