A table and four-chair set from the late 1950s by Finnish designer Ilmari Tapiovaara. The Pirkka model for the manufacturer Laakan Puu.
Table top, seats, and backrests made of solid Finnish pine.
The compass legs are made of black-lacquered beech.
This set comes directly from Finland.
First edition from this long-established publisher.
Stamped on the underside of the tabletop and the seats.
The set is in very good vintage condition. The tabletop, seats, and chair backs have been restored. Several coats of oil have been applied as a protective finish.
